“The arts teach us who we are and what we can be. They lie at the very core of the culture of which we are a part.” Ronald Reagon
At Caldmore Primary Academy, the Creative Arts encompass a range of subjects, including performance across art, music, dance and drama. Throughout the school year, all children are given the opportunity to perform for their peers, adults within school and their parents. Many children also go out into the wider community and perform in carnivals, festivals and concerts in both outdoor and indoor venues.
We firmly believe that the Creative Arts is crucial in developing creative and imaginative thinking, building self-confidence and enhancing concentration, co-operation and communication skills. It also develops the vocabulary of our pupils and creates many opportunities for them to have fun and feel part of something special.
Our environment stimulates creativity and innovation to enable our children to unleash their imagination.
