Children Starting in Our Setting
Each new starter is invited in for an initial meeting with their new class teacher and to visit our Early Years setting where they will be learning, exploring and playing.
New Starters
Children often join us during the year. At Caldmore Primary Academy we work hard to ensure all children get a smooth transition into our Nursery and Reception classes.
Initially you will be offered a new parent meeting where you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s new class teacher, have a guided tour of our Early Years and discuss anything that we might need to know about your child.
We operate an open-door policy where you have the opportunity to talk to our Early Years staff before and after school. We also have Class Dojo where you will be able to contact your child’s teachers during the day and photos and messages are shared with parents and carers via the app.
