Here at Caldmore Primary Academy, we believe that our children are the most important people and we aim to give ALL children lots of opportunities to share their thoughts and opinions and play an active role in the decisions that affect their learning and well-being.
Junior Leadership Team
The Junior Leadership Team at Caldmore is led by Mrs Sow, SMSC/Personal Development Lead.
The team is made up of 2 representatives from each Key Stage 2 Class, who were voted for by their classmates.
Children make their class representatives aware of any issues within school which they can then take back to JLT meetings, which take place every 2 weeks, to discuss.
Or, sometimes, Mrs Sow will give us something important to talk about that we might have to speak to our classes about, getting their views and opinions before decisions are made! For example, the main area we have discussed this year is attendance! We have also been working very hard to ensure that everyone has a good knowledge of RRSA (Rights Respecting School Award).
