Walsall Football Club coaches provide Caldmore Primary Academy with a full sports curriculum during the day for each year group. After school clubs take place on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
Years 3 & 4 – Tuesdays 3.30pm-4.15pm
Years 5 & 6 – Wednesdays 3.30pm-4.15pm
Drama group meets every Wednesday evening with Mrs J. The group practices their acting skills and write scripts for production. The group perform their work at the end of each term.
Mrs J runs reading groups every lunchtime and after school to help the children fall in love with reading and improve their reading ages. Reading a variety of books improves vocabulary and writing skills!
Year 6 Maths Booster with Mr Ballance is every Thursday evening 3.30pm – 4.30pm. The club is by invitation only run to help the students who need a little more support with their maths ready for SATS.
