‘Home reading books’ will need to be handed in every Friday to check your child has read 3 times that week. If they have finished their book, they are able to bring to get changed.

PE is on Tuesday.

Homework is given out on Friday and expected back by Wednesday.

What Are We Learning?

In English, we will be reading Ottoline. We will be learning to explore the features of a mystery text, focusing on characters feelings and thoughts.  We will write a newspaper report, a postcard and notebook extracts. We will also create and write our own mystery text.

We are reading Charlotte’s Web by E.B White in Guided Reading.

In Maths, we will be studying time and fractions. We will be writing fractions on a number line, finding and listing equivalent fractions and  solving word problems involving fractions.
