Children need to be reading 5 times per week and their home reading books need to be in school every day.
Swimming will be every other Monday.
PE is on a Wednesday.
Spellings will be given out on a Monday for children to learn, please encourage your children to practice these at home in preparation for their spelling test on a Friday. Children have their Doodle Maths logins and need to be going on their daily for about 5 – 10 minutes.

What Are We Learning?
In English, we are creating a non chronological report on Aye-Ayes. We will be looking at use of parenthesis, fronted adverbials and Standard english.
In Maths, we will be working on decimals, fractions and our geometry topic.
Our Science lessons are all about Life cycles and how plants and animals reproduce to make offspring. We will be looking at the different life cycles in animals and comparing the differences.
In RE we are looking at Christianity. We will focus on destiny and free will and whether it was always God’s plan for Jesus to die.
In Latin, we are introducing the language and where the English language comes from.
In music this half term we will be learning the song ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’. We will learn the song as well as playing the glockenspiels with it.
In Computing, we will use Purple Mash to ensure that we are keeping ourselves safe online. We will also be looking at coding.
