At Caldmore Primary Academy, our key stages work as teams to strengthen and enhance the provision of the curriculum we provide.

We teach phonics through the use of letters and sounds and support this with Read Write Inc..

To teach reading we use Accelerated Reader which pulls together a range of reading schemes as well as general interest books which are levelled.

Year 1 and 2 have specific programmes of study for the core subjects of english, maths and science.

All other subjects are taught collaboratively with skills and knowledge using the Cornerstonecreative curriculum schme.
